Weekend Wellness | No. 6

Hi, Friends! We have been a little MIA from the blog this week, but we have been super busy behind the scenes. We had a big surprise launch of our new SOAK + SALT line, and were overwhelmed with your response! Thank you SO MUCH for your support. We could not do it without YOU!

In honor of our new product, we thought it would be fitting to discuss the importance of relaxation. In today’s busy world, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find time to relax. We encourage everyone to carve out a bit of time each day to rest their mind. Sit in the quiet. Here are a few of our favorite ways to relax.

READ YOUR BIBLE OR JOURNAL
One of our favorite ways to relax is to get into the Word. By meditating on His Word we are able to give our stress to God, enjoy some quiet time, and focus on what is really important. Journaling is a great way to get your feelings put onto paper and out of your head. We also recommend keeping your prayer requests in a journal. It is so much fun to see how God has worked through those prayer requests. Alisha’s favorite journals are here.

GET OUTSIDE
Another way to relax is by getting outside and enjoying the sun! Feeling the warmth of the sun can boost your mood, not to mention, that the extra Vitamin D is always nice. If you can get outside and go for a walk, even a quick 10-minute walk can clear your head and relax your mind.

TAKE A RELAXING BATH
A great way to relax is to take a bath and clear your mind. As a mama of littles, sometimes this feels like the only time you are alone throughout the day. Enjoy it! Light a candle, add in some bath salts, and enjoy some much needed time alone.

Carve out some time in your day today to do just one of the items listed above – you will not regret it!

Stay Well,
Tricia + Alisha
